The leg from Nieuwport to Flushing as a good beat in 20kts of wind and we had a cracking sail as you would expect. It was not until we had passed through the canals and waterways of Holland to the Maarkemeer and the Ijsselmeer that we had light conditions to test the sails. The result is that we are delighted!! We have had three very good sails in light airs to windward and are finding that we can get 5kts with 10kts true wind, 5.5kts with 11kts true and 6kts with 12-13 kts true. This is a huge improvement on the old sails. We would never have dreamed of trying to sail with les than 14 kts before. So thank you very much for a job well done.
